INTERNATIONAL: Three people have been killed, including a hospitalized suspect, and four others have been wounded in a shooting on Idaho’s Boise Towne Square. The Ada County coroner has identified the shooter as 27-year-old local, Jacob Bergquist. Boise Police Chief Ryan Lee says Bergquist was known to both police and mall security, although he didn't appear to have an arrest record in the city. Security guards had reported him in the past though for disruptive or disorderly behavior. The four wounded include two women, who sustained what were described as non-life-threatening injuries, and a 68-year-old woman who was struck inside a vehicle, possibly as police and the suspect exchanged gunfire. A Boise police officer, who was treated and released, was hit by glass from the window of the vehicle he was using. The motive for the shooting remains unclear but it appears it followed an altercation with a mall security guard. One shopper told police that he was in the food court when he heard five to eight shots ring out and that security personnel ushered him out before police arrived.
